Excesses in Mosul
REPORT TO THE LEAGUE. TURKS WITHDRAWING FROAI THE FRONTIER. [By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.] (Received 11,11.50 a.m.) Geneva, Dec. 10. The report by Afr Laidoner, presented to the League Council, says the statements of refugees show that Turkish soldiers, commanded by officers, occupied villages, obtained arms, pillaged houses, subjected the inhabitant to atrocitous violence, and even massacre. Air Laidoner’s personal observations confirmed the pitiable condition of the rc fugees, who lost everything. The report emphasized the importance of the Brussels line, and adds that de portations are proceeding. After reading the report, Air Laidon er announced the receipt of a telegram from Alosul, stating that all was quiet on tho frontier.
