LOST BRACELET RECOVERED. (Received 9, 12.50 p.m.) Adelaide, Dec. 9. Some months ago Cachran, a taxicab proprietor, purchased a cab from another city owner. Finding difficulty in raising- a window ho discovered a tarnished bracelet at the bottom of the aperatirre. He thought it valueless he gave it to his children to play with. Later he offered it to a dealer for 15/-, which was refused. Subsequently the dealer returned and offered £5O which he refused. Cochran then took the bracelet to a diamond merchant, and was informed that each of tho 47 stones was a diamond valued at £3. set in platinum, tho total value being £l4O. Tho police next stepped in and found the original owner, Mrs. Waterhouse, who was under tho impression that she dropped the bracelet out of tho taxi window when driving home in 1924.
