THE EVOLUTION THEORY.
EVIDENCE IN DAYTON CASE. (Received 20, 10.55 a.m.) New York, July 19. The judge at Dayton agreed tn accept an affidavit giving an outline of the scientific evidence on evolution for the purpose of completing the record of the case on appeal to the higher court. Proceedings were adjourned until Monday, when all that remains to he done is to hear legal and scientific argument for Scojjes. The judge wanted to have his picture taken with Mr Bryan on one side and Mr Darrow on the other, but Mr Darrow sourly declined.—(Sydney “Sun" cable).
