Studebaker Special Secures Second Place in Great Indianapolis 500-mile Race.—Earl Cooper, the famous American race driver, secured second place in the great Indianapolis 500-Mile Scratch Race, averaging 97.99 miles per hour ftfr the whole distance. At 445 miles, Cooper led bv 30 seconds, when he was compelled to change a tyre, which took 18 seconds. At 450 miles he stopped 15 seconds to change another tyre.
