OLYMPIC GAMES.
NATIONAL CLASSIFICATION. (Received 29, 12.25 p.m.) Paris, July 28. A general national classification of the Olympic Games shows the United States is first with 94 points, France second with 64, Sweden third with 44| Britain fourth with 44 J. Italy eighth with 25f, Holland ninth with 19, Belgium tenth with 172, Australia twelfth with three, Portugal twentysecond with two. South Africa twentythird with one, and Egypt twentyfifth with three-quarters. The above classification was drawn up by the French Olympic Committee. The medals, however, were awarded on entirely distinct points. In addition to yesterday’s cable Finland has 14 firsts 13 seconds and 10 thirds; France 11 15, 10; Britain 9, 11, 11| Canada 0,4, 1; Japan one third and New Zealand one third. —(Reuter).
