COSY DE LUXE.
Rex Beach’s most famous story of Alaskan life, “The Silver Horde,” has been adapted to the photoplay as another of the Goldwyn Special productions and will te the attraction at the Cosy De Luxe Theatre this evening. For those who have seen the other Beach-Goklwyn pictures, “The Barrier,” “The Girl From Outside,” “The Silver Horde” will need no recommendation. It is a melodramatic story woven about the salmon industry of Alaska, and the capture of these fish for the canneries play no small part in the picture. Like all of the Rex Beach stories as produced by Goldwyn, 're is no particular star in “The Silver Horde,” although the cast has been specially selected for the best talent in the country. Another firstrate production on tne bill is “Heroes of the Street.” starring Wesley Barry. It is the story of a lad whose father, an Irish policeman, is shot by some unknown person, while returning home on Christmas to share in the festivities of the evening. The family is prostrate, hut the hoy swears he will run down the murderer and put him behind the bars. This programme will be screened for to-night only.
