WHILE SINGING HYMN
THREE KILLED BY LIGHTNING. PASTOR DIES AT ALTAR. London, July 28. While the congregation was singing a hymn lightning struck a Protestant Church near Tokay (Hungary), says the Budapest correspondent of the London “Daily Mail.” It killed the pastor. who was at the altar, and two other persons. Their heavy top-boots saved the lives of the others, as the lightning, travelling across the floor, only burned the leather. —Sydney “Sun” cable.
