PROCEEDS OF TAXATION. (Received 16,( 12.20 p.m.) Paris, March 15. Direct taxation on State monopolies yielded 1,128,000,000 francs in February, making the surplus over the estimates for the first two months of the year 124,000,000 francs.—(A. and N.Z.)
