LIMITATION OF ARMAMENTS.
A LEAGUE CONFERENCE. SOVIET TO PARTICIPATE. (Received 16, 12.20 p.m.) London, March 15. The Russian trade delegates states that the Soviet will participate in the international conference under the auspices of the League of Nations to consider the extension of the principles of the Washington treaty. Tchitcherin states that the Soviet still considers the League is a coalition of a few states unwarrantably attempting to usurp the power of the others, but the Soviet is participating With a view to minimising the war burden weighing on the world’s workers.—*(A. and N.Z.)
