EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
EXPENDITURE TO DATE. (Received 7. 9.35 a.m.) — London, March 6. Sir W. Joynson Hicks, answering questions in the House of Commons, said the expenditure on the Empire Exhibition .to date totalled three-quar-ters of a million. It was estimated that it would have reached £2,435,000 when the Exhibition closed. —(A. and NLZ.)
