Wheat cargoes are quiet and prices easier in view of the weakness of the American market and worse Continental exchanges, but no businss is passing to test values.— (A. and N.Z.) SHARES. London. STORTFORD LODGE STOC K SALE. I’he H.B. Stock Auctioneers Association report holding their usual weekly sale at Stortford Lodge yesterday, when a. lair yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle was offered. Prices ranged as follows:—Dairy cows £5 15/to ~*;9 15/-, fat bullocks £6 15/- to £7 10/-. fat cows £4 1/-, light bullocks £5, empty cows £2 8/6 to £3 17/6, forward 3 and 4-year steers £4 10/- to £5 12/-, cows in calf £4, fat ewes 23/- to 26/-. m.s. hoggets 14/6 to 18/-, forward ewes 13/11, ewes and lambs from 26/6. /
