The Dail put in hard work on the Constitution Bill, which reaches the committee stage on Monday. Cabinet has announced that the certain clauses on which the Government will stand or fall include preservation of the treaty and the position and recognition of the Crown. The bulk of the nation is breathing easier again, teeing in the functioing of the Dail happier and more stable conditions. Rebel activity is diminishing, except in Kerry, which is practically cut off from communication. Hundreds of unexployed are starving. A captured rebel manifesto urges the immediate establishment of a provisional republican Government.— (United Service.)
