PRISONERS SENTENCED.

Wellington, Sept. 21. ine following prisoners were sentenced by Mr. Justice Salmond today :— Hector Smith, for breaking, entering and theft at Dannevirke, five months; George Anthony Silva, for theft at Kaitoke, five months; Robert Brown, for theft, two years’ re formative treatment; John David Mason and Roy Cameron Morrison, for forgery and uttering, Mason ’to two years’ probation, and Morrison three months’ imprisonment; Stewart Raymond McArthur, for forgery and attempt at false pretences, two years’ probation; Donald James Lowrie, for breaking, entering, and theft at Taihape. two years’ reformative treatment.
