LONDON BUTTER PRICES.

WEEKLY REPORTS ASKED FOR. (Special to “Tribune.”) Wellington, Sept. 22. The need for securing the latest market iniormation tor dairy farmers was stressed by Mr. Hamilton (Awarua) in the House last night. Mr. Hamilton pointed out that the season was just opening and farmers were anxious to know the value of their products ou the London market. Was it possible for the Minister to make available a weekly market report as to the value of butter and cheese. “The Government,” replied the Hon. W. Nosworthy, “will endeavour to do everything possible to get information and distribute it as early as possible. 1 would point out that dairy farmers have representatives of the Dairy Association in Britain and they ought to be able to inform farmers of the position of the market.” Mr. Hamilton: They don’t do so, anyhow. Hon. W. Nosworthy.: That is what they are supposed to do. However, I will havel inquiries made, and if it is possible to meet the position with any improved methods 1 will be open to consider them.
