AUSTRALASIANS BEAT HUNSLET. London. January 2. At I,eague football the Australasians beat Hunslet bv 19 to 10.—(A. and N.Z.) The match was played in a heavy wind. The ground was muddy Hunslet relying mainly on kicking and dribbling, kept the visitors on the defensive in the early stages. Play was keen and interesting. The Australasians established a lead of 9 to 3 in the first half, and maintained their superiority, finishing with five tries and two goals' to Hunslet’s two tries and two goals.—(A. and N.Z.)
