Gounaris gained a vote of confidence by 227 to 13. M. Gounaris said Greece occupied sixfold more territory in Asia Minor than the Treaty of Sevres provided, besides almost the entire railways. Turkey refused to submit and it was necessary for Greece to reach a more complete understanding with the three great Powers holding the mandate, for which purpose lie wi'.l visit them and consult regarding terms.— (A. and N.Z.)
