j FRUITWORKERS’ CLUB. i The employees of the Hawke’s Bay Fruitgrowers’ Ltd., ami Apsey White and Co., Ltd., met in the store of the latter company on Monday night to discuss the formation* of a joint cricket club by the respective staffs. It was decided that the proposed club he named ‘ ‘ The Combined Fruit. Companies ’ Workers ’ Cricket Club,’’ and to bo known as the “ C.F.C.W.C.C.’ ’ President, Patrons and officers were elected. Mr A. Stephens was appointed secretary. Delegates wore appointed to attend tho next meeting of the junior competition, so as to be iu readiness to «'unpeto when the season opens.
