A GREEK VICTORY.
ASIA MINOR CAMPAIGN RENEWED. Athens, Oct. 11. A Greek official message claims that a battle commencing on Sept. 30 in Afum, in the Karahissar sector, ended on the eighth in a brilliant Greek victory, the Turks retreating in disorder with severe losses.—(Reuter). KEMALISTS RELEASE BRITISH PRISONERS. (Received 12, 8.50 a.m.) London. Oct. 11. The Government has received information that the British prisoners held by the Kemalists have arrived at Inveoli; therefore the Turkish prisoners at Malta have been released and sent to Inveoli.—(A. and N.Z.)
