Dunedin, Aug. 17. At the Supreme Court to-day, George Salvin Thomas, aged 19, and George Andrew McWilliams, aged 20, on six charges of breaking, entering, and theft were each sentenced to six months’ imprisonment on each charge, sentence to he cumulative and each was declared an habitual criminal. James Cameron Brown for false pretences at Napier and Dunedin was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment and declared an habitual criminal. Frederick Edward Clarke, a Maori, for theft, received one year and was declared an habitual criminal.
