LATE COMMERCIAL.
STOCK CLEARING SALE. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having a clearing sulo in conjunction with Williams and Kettle at Mangatewai, Takapau, on account of Mr. M. J. Gordon. There was a large attendance from the local district and considering the season, the stock came forward in good condition- The following prices were realised: — Sheep: M.A. breeding ewes to Romney rams, 15/6 to 17/6; ewe hoggets, 10/3; in.a. romney rams, 7/6; fat sheep, 15/-. Cattle: M.S. Hereford weaners, 34/-; m.s. Hereford-cross yearlings, £2 2/-: Holstein heifer. £3; 43 younu Hereford cows in calf to Hereford bull. £3; 1 4-year bull, £6 10/-: dairy cows, £5, £7, £l3, £l4; aged draught gelding, £l5; hack, £3 5/-. the implements and sundries sold well, at clearing sale rates-
