EXCHANGE AND DUTY.
COMMONWEALTH CABINET’S DECISION. (Received 17, 10.15 a.m.) Melbourne, Feb. 17. Cabinet has approved of a refund of the additional duty in every c-»s? whore the excess duty was paid in accordance with .the former departmental practice on goods in stock and unsold nt the date of the High Ceurt judgment. It also decided that no claims will bo made for duty short paid, and no refunds will bo made where duty has been overpaid.— (A. and N.Z.)
