TARADALE.
(Own Correspondent.) A' most successful and pretty little social and dance under the auspices of the U.S.F.- Assembly was held in the Town Hall -on "Wednesday, evening. Although the weather had been indifferent aM day it held fine in the evening and did not effect the attendance. The floor was in perfect condition and about fifty couples whirled the ballroom to the captivating strains of Mrs. O. Anderson's Orchestra. Mr» W. Brooks ivas a most efficient M.C. A most sumptuous supper was laid under the charge of Misses R. Martin, C. Portar, M. Williams, M. and E. Alexander. The tables were attractively decorated with almond blossoms, being a ■'great credit to the decoraters. The secretary (Mr. J. Brooks) and his committee are to be congratulated on the success .of their efforts.
