AUSTRALIA’S EMBARGO. Christchurch, May 12. The secretary of the Canterbury Potato Growers’Association has cabled the Minister for Agriculture in Sydney asking for definite information regarding the restriction of the importation of New Zealand potatoes. The Federal quarantine officer replied that owing to the existence of a serious potato disease, importation into Australia was prohibitive
