INTERNATIONAL RLLLi. PROPOSED AMERICAN CHANGES. (Received 6, 940 a m.) New fork, Feb. 1. The English Lawn Tennis Association has inlordied the I niteci States National Lawn Tennis Association that the proposed American changes in the tennis rules would be better delayed, until the American body has decided whether it will join the International Federation, which will be entrusted with the determination of International rules. The English Association further states that in the event of the United States changing the rules, she would be> seriously handicapped when playing off the Davis Cup tie. The English Association added it could not approve of many of the proposed American changes', including those relating to “foot fault” scoring and handicapping—(A. and N.Z.)
