'FLU ON PATEENA.
THREE OF CREW DOWN. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Jan. 7. Three members of the crew of the Pateena developed influenza on the way across from Nelson and Picton, and on arrival of the vessel this morning they were removed to the hospital. Their names are Russell, Hancock and Bairncross. The hospital authorities state their condition is not serious. The Pateena Fs being thoroughly fumigated, and will not be able to leave for Picton and Nelson to-day or Friday. The Moeraki was sent to Picton only, and an endeavour will be made to send the Mapourika to Picton and Nelson on Friday. Watersiders have refused' to work the Pateena
