OBITUARY.
MR. C. B. MORISON, K.C. The death is announced from Wellington of Mr. Charles Bruce Morison, K.C. Mr. Charles Bruce Morison K.C., who was one of the foremost lawyers in New Zealand, was well known in the Supreme Court of the Dominion, when important cases were being heard. In Native Land Court matters he was an acknowledged authority and he was often seen in Hawke’s Bay, in connection with native land transactions wheae large interests were concerned. Amongst the legal works of which he was the author are "Company Law in New Zealand,” (a text book) and "A Treatise on the Principles of Rescession of Contracts.” He was very popular with those who knew him and his disposition was kindly. His mother lived in Havelock North many years ago.
