PRISONERS IN SIBERIA.
POPE ASKS FOR REPATRIATION. (Received 5, 9 a.m.) Rome, Jan. 2. In consequence of representations of the international committee oi Red Cross Societies at Geneva, it is understood that the Pope communicated with Japan urging the immediate repatriation cf 200,000 war prisoners in Siberia.—(Reuter.)
