COLLISION AT SEA.
THEMISTOCLES SINKS A BARQUE Capetown, July 5. The steamer Themistocles, bound from London to Sydney, collided with and sank the Norwegian barque Edderside, bound from Port Natal _to Buenos Ayres, in a fog, ninety miles south-eastward of Cape Agullias. Thirteen survivors were picked up, including the captain. Seven are missing. The Themistocles returned to Capetown. She received minor damage —A. & N.Z.
[The Themistocles is a British steamer of 11,231 tons. Her length is 500 feet, and her speed 15 knots. She was built in 1911 for Geo. Thompson and Co., Ltd.]
