WAIHI MINERS.
NON-UNIONIST QUESTION REOPENED. Waihi, March 22. A largely attended meeting of the Miners’ Union w*as held last night at which, after considerable discussion, it was resolved by a large majority that the union notify the mining companies that the union is desirous of reopening the question of the seven men at present standing out of the union.
Nominations to fill the vacancies caused by the resignations of the President and the Secretary were received, and the election to be held as early as possible.
