A most enthusiastic reception was given this morning to the 748 officers and men who returned by the Atlicnic and to 181 soldiers’ wives who came out by the vessel. It is ividerstood some 30 or 40 men will arrive to-morrow night or possibly to-night. Cars will be provided for the soldiers and the City Band will bo in attendance. It is hoped to arrange for all the returning mon to be entertained in a public manner. Another draft arrives in Wellington bv the Aiana. at an early date and fully '30,000—10,000 of which are now en route —are expected during the next four months.
