Peace Celebrations

HASTINGS. Some thirty-five persons, representative of commercial and professional circles, assembled at the Borough Council Chambers last night for the purpose of discussing proposals for peace celebrations in the town. His Worship the Mayor occupied the chair and, in opening the meeting, said he felt that a great deal could be done by individual and combined effort.
