DEATH FROM GUNSHOT WOUND. Dunedin, Aug. 14. An inquest was held at Outram regarding the death of Garnet Hamilton Tregonning, sheepfarmer, Lee Stream, who was found lying dead with a gunshot wound in his head. The medical man said he was was satisfied that the gun could not have been deliberately discharged by the deceased. The local constable said that from his examination of the locality and knowledge of the deceased, he was satisfied the shooting was accidental. The coroner’s verdict was “Death from injuries received by the accidental discharge of a shot gun.”
