Messrs Hoadley Son and Stewart, Ltd., report having held a stock sale at Clive'Grange yesterday, when they offered a medium yarding of cattle and a good yarding of sheep to a good attendance of the public. Sales effected were as follows: —1 cow in profit £ll, 1 do. £l2, 1. springing heifer £7 10/-, 1 empty 7 heifer £7 5.'-, 1 18-monthc heifer £6, 1 yearling steer £1 13/-, 2 weaner steers £2 2;-, 2 do. £1 13/6, 2 13-montbs steers £1 5-'-, 2 weaner steers £3 11/-, 1 do. £l, 26 fat ewes 28.'-, 426 m.s. hoggets £l, 51 m.s. 2-tooths 16'3, 17 cull hoggets 9/-, 111 m.s. hoggets 18/4, 71 m.s. hoggets 15,-.
