LADY LIVERPOOL FUND.

CHRISTMAS PARCELS CONCERT. MUNICIPAL THEATRE, HASTINGS. FRIDAY NIGHT. The Hastings Orchestral Society are again out to assist patriotic funds, their first efforts for the present season will be to assist the Liverpool Bund in procuring Christmas Parcels for the “Boys” at the front. A real good programme of popular items is to be submitted at the concert to be given on Friday night and to further add to the musical treat promised Miss Teresa McEnroe, one of New Zealand’s best’ sopranos, will be heard in both parts of the programme. Miss McEnroe has been heard twice in Hastings, once at an Orchestral Concert and later at one of _ Mrs. Lewis’s “pops,” and each time she has established herself a warm favourite anil her visit is being looked forward to by her" many admirers. Those who have not had the pleasure of hearing this gifted young singer will do well to make a point of Attending the concert, a treat is in store for them. Apart from the programme the object of the concert is well worthy of all the support Hastings and district can give. The “Boys” at the front will be looking forward for Christmas parcels and the larger the audience the larger the number of parcels will be. The “Boys“ deserve all the good things we can sent to them. The Liverpool Fund is deserving of support in the great work it is doing. Roll up on Friday night and help them. The Orchestral Society' is “doing its bit” in provid--1 ing an entertainment which is well worth hearing and it’s up to you all to give it a bumper house. The box plan is open at Hall’s. There is no booking fee. Prices for admission are 2/- and I/-. It’s worth more but that will do. A bus will run from Havelock North.
