NAPIER WOMEN’S NATIONAL RESERVE SHOP.

Considerable interest is being taken in the latest effort of the AVomen’s National Reserve—a three day’s season at their shop was opened this morning. A prominent feature of the shop is the children’s Christmas tree erected in the centre of the stalls under the shade of a gigantic Japanese parosol. The liberty art stall which is comprised of various novelties suitable for Christmas gifts was a source of great attraction. Good business was done at all the stalls which ' were managed as follows : Art, Mesdames H. R. Wood and W. P. Mitchell who were also in charge : flowers, Mesdames F. Banks, J. A. Burtenshaw. A. O. Russell; sweets,Mrs E.. Caro, Miss Sheath : cakes, Mesdames F. W. Triggs, J. D. Heaton; produce, Mrs W. C. Sproule, Miss Lipscombe ; competitions. Misses Margory-Cato, and Imelda Rowe. The whole proceeds are to- be devoted for the ; benefit of N.Z. blinded soldiers at St. Dunstan’s and for the Navy i League. ’
