William Henry Allen was charged in the Supreme Court with intent to do grievous bodily barm. The jurv. without retiring, returned a verdiot of not guilty on the ground that accused was insane when he committed the offence. Justice Denniston ordered Allen to the Sunnyside mental hospital at tje> pleaM*'? of the Minister of Justice.
