OTAMAURI STOCK SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report holding an opening sa.e at Otamatlri yesterday, when there was a large entry of sheep . and a fair attendance of buyers. Following are the sales: —98 s.m. ewes 27./-, 69 s.m. ewes 25/-, 60 lambs 20/10, 9 Romney rams £2 2/-, 49 ewes 27/-, 25 5-year Romney rams £1 1/-, 4 fat cows £l3 5/-, 9 2 and 4tooth .Romney rams £1 1/-. TE MATA STOCK SALE. Mr. J. A. Miller reports holding bis opening stock sale at the Te Mata saleyards yesterday (Tuesday), when there was a very large yarding of sheep, viz., 2757 and a medium entry of cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers and keen competition for all lots, the condition of the stock being excellent Fat ewas from Tauroa made 37/2 and the JKaponga ewes, which were, in splendid condition, made 34/9.
