(Waipawa Correspondent.)

At the last meeting of the Wai , pawa County Council a letter was received from the Napier Harbour Board notifying the council that the rerm of office of their representative, Mr. A. E. .Tull, would expire this year. In dealing with the matter, the chairman, Mr. L. McKay, remarked that although Mr. .Tull would personally wish to relinquish the position, yet he had done such good work as chairman of the board that his services should be practically commandeered by the ratepayers. He had proved himself most able and his abilities had put the Harbour Board finances in a healthy position. Although conserving the interests from an economic aspect, he had by his progressive measures made, the port one of the leading shipping centres of the Dominion. Other members eulogised the services of Mr. .lull, and a motion was passed unanimously that he be nominated for re-election.
