QUEENSLAND FLOODS.
Brisbane, Feb. 5.
The Minister of Lands introduced a Bill in the Assembly for the relief of the sufferers by the Clermont flood. He proposes to make available land for the rebuilding on higher ground closer to the railway station, than the portions of the town liable to floods.

(Received 6, 8.55 a.m.) Sydney, Feb. 6. A general soaking rain has fallen for several days and still continues. Further heavy falls are reported from Queensland, where the recurrence of the floods are feared.
RIVERS RUNNING HIGH.
(Received 6, 9.50 a.m.) Brisbane, Feb. 6.
A’ message from Charleville sta*' es that all the rivers are flooded and tailway traffic is suspended. Nt> loss of life is reported.
