AUSTRIAN BABY-KILLERS [AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSN.] Rome, Nov. 16. Ninety were killed in the Padua air raid. AMERICAN AIRMEN BUSY. BAG 22 GERMAN MACHINES. London, Nov. 6. The correspondent of the “Times’ 1 with the French army states that a squadron of 14 American airmen, flying on the Somme front, have brought down 22 Germans since May 22. Two of the American airmen have been killed and three wounded.
The Americans fly “Chaser” planes rising to a height of 7000 feet and guarding the French observation below.
