HASTINGS CLUB. Bowlers spent an enjoyable day on this green on Saturday afternoon, although play was interfered with somewhat in the early stage.of play by a slight shower of rain. Following are the results King 8., Evans, Pitcaithley, Garnett 21 ; Eglinton, Wilson, Monk, Pickering 20. , Collins, Cottle, Land, McLeod 32; Gardner, Thompson, King, Hogan 14. Horton, West, Holt, Clarkson. 13 ; Horne, Sinclair, Beatson, Claridge 30. Afternoon tea was dispensed by Mrs. J. Beatson, which was much appreciated. ST. LEONARD’S CLUB. The following games were played on this green on Saturday, an enjoyable afternoon being spent:— Bannatine, Dixon, Hay, Herbison 23; Lincoln, Howard, Lynch, Davis 16. Alexander, Beeson, Dodge, 17; Grenside, Ellingham and Parker 16. Brown, Grant, 22; Wellman, Lys; 12. Aftornoon tea was dispensed by Mrs. G. Dixon.
