TO THE SUNNY NORTH. Wellington, Nov. 1. The census returns already received indicate that there is a decided shrinkage in the population of the South Island and a corresponding increase in the northern portion of the North Island. This is indicated to such an extent so far as to suggest the possibility of the South Island and West Coast constituencies being reduced by two, which will be tacked on to the Auckland district.
