LONDON WOOL SALES. Dalgety & Co. have received the following cable from the London house: —The wool sales continue with keen competition. As compared with September closing rates greasy merinos, good and medium, are 5 to 7j per cent , dearer: faulty greasy merinos, par to 5 per cent._ dearer; scoured merinos, good 2| to 5 per cent, dearer; medium and faulty, 5 per cent, dearer. Crossbreds, greasy and scoured, fine 7 per cent, dearer; medium and coarse, 5 per cent, dearer: faulty 5 per cent, dearer. Slipes slightly dearer. Sheepskins, 3050 offered, practically all sola. There was only a moderate attendanca at the sheepskins sales and competition was rather irregular. As compared with average September quotation, merino combing >d dearer, clothing Jd dearer.
