Of the Karamu team that went to Wellington, Stewart Waddell has taken Mountjoy, Hymestra. Gladful. Hymena, Hyttus and Hygenas to Kiccarton, while Hyllus and Bagdad have gone to Ellerslie to be raced there under the supervision of J. E. Thorpe. Centre and Woodlark have been returned to the home stable.
