Open Handicap, 100yds.—T Chadwick 1, E. Moody 2. Wheel Barrow Race. — W. Hean and J. Adamson 1. Grand dolls’ parade.—Marvel Fulford 1, Julia Burke 2. H.B. schoolboys’ championship. 440 yards.—Senior: N. Campbel] (Main). 1 : P. C. Annan (Sigh School), 2; A. Haire (Hastings). 3. Time, Imin 11 secs. Junior: F Pearcy (Marist Bros.), 1 ; E. Arroll (Port School), 2. Time, Imin 23secs. Three legged race, 75 yards.— N. McKenzie and J. Adamson 1. Unionists’ race.—W. Hinn 1. T. Doak -2, J. Fulford 3. race. — AV. McKenny 1, G. AVilson 2. Quoits. —B. Anderson (3 on), 1 ; C Mills (scr.), 2; J. H. Franklin (3 on). 3. There were twenty entries, some good play, and the final was keenly contested. BOY SCOUTS. Considerable interest was evinced in the Boy Scout competitions which resulted as follows :— Ambulance event. —L. Minett. J. Kerr, R. Tankard and A. Kirkkham Signalling event. — Sgt.-Major L. Minet t 1. F. Dooley 2. BABY SHOAV. There was a record entry of babies in the show, and the results were very close. The judges were : Mrs. AA'. Adams, Ponsonby, Auckland ; Mrs. -J. Pateiison, Napier: and Mr. Strangman. In the girls’ class Mrs. S. Cole, Latham street, Napier, secured the prize, and Mrs A. Spence was awarded a special prize, donated by Mrs. Adams. In the boys’ class, Mr. F. L. Fulton, Greenmeadows, secured first- prize, and Airs. A. Downie, of Napier, and Mrsf. Knight, of Hastings, Were awarded specials.
