Considerable interest was evinced in the Boy Scout competitions which resulted as follows :— Ambulance event. —L. Minett. J. Kerr, R. Tankard and A. Kirkkham Signalling event. — Sgt.-Major L. Minet t 1. F. Dooley 2. BABY SHOAV. There was a record entry of babies in the show, and the results were very close. The judges were : Mrs. AA'. Adams, Ponsonby, Auckland ; Mrs. -J. Pateiison, Napier: and Mr. Strangman. In the girls’ class Mrs. S. Cole, Latham street, Napier, secured the prize, and Mrs A. Spence was awarded a special prize, donated by Mrs. Adams. In the boys’ class, Mr. F. L. Fulton, Greenmeadows, secured first- prize, and Airs. A. Downie, of Napier, and Mrsf. Knight, of Hastings, Were awarded specials.
