Municipal Theatre, Hastings.— Tonight will be the last opportunity of witnessing the Famous Players’ masterpiece “Aristocracy,” a pictorial dramat:f study of American and English society and its shams. The paramount programme of pictures screened at this theatre are undoubtedly ftul of merit. | and proves that the management is j leaving no stone unturned to give entire ] satisfaction to patrons. Hart commands and ho.ds attention from the start, lie is powerful by his restraint, as well as by his facial evpressions, when he appears as a man awakening to a bad dream after he hears of his wife’s elopement. There is a great climax in tne last scene, where the husband compels the saloon-keeper to accompany him to his cabin at the point of the gun, and another when he is temgted to shoot the violator of his home, but thrusts it aside on seeing the vision of the Crucified. The supporting pictures are a.so highly meritorious. A matinee will be on to-mor-row afternoon. Princess Theatre, Hastings.—“ The W.oman in the Box” which will be screened for the last time at the Princess Theatre, Hastings, to-night, is an exciting drama staged in Mexico, the countr.. of adventures. The hero of the illni is Milton Ashetdn, of the United I bia.tes Secret Service, who goes to [.Mexico to find if that country is leasing ■an island in the Pacific to a hosthe Power. He meets the beautiful woman whom ho has seen in a box at the opera, and with her assistance, accomplishes bis task, after many thrilling incidents. I The chief parts arc taken by two very capable Vitagraph actors, Harry Morey and Peggy Blake. In addition some ■ other fine pictures are screened, inclduing comedies, dramas, and topicals. To-morrow afternoon a huge Triangle Keystone comedy will be screened, featuring Ford Sterling, the great “Funny Man” in a continuous scream from beginning to end.
