Christchurch, Aug. 7. There was perfect weather at Riccarton this morning. The inside trial grass, sand and tan tracks were open, and provided fast going. Fabrikoff ran a mile in Imin. 43 3-5 sec. Fender easily beat Prince Lacklo over six furlongs in 7min. 17sec. Donald beat Lady Louisa and Olga Carlovna over seven furlongs in Imin. 35 3-ssec. Grey’ Renown and Bonny did a circuit of big fences in 2mins. St. Ewl, Countess and Tolstoi ran six furlongs in Imin. 17 3-ssec. Multiply, Vescular, St. Elmn, and Bracken went a round of the schooling hurdles. St. Elmn beat- Bluestone and Coloma over three furlongs in 38sec. Peg and Ceroulus did six furlongs in Imin. 16 4-ssec. Cornet and Slogan went six furlongs in Imin. ISsec. ,Palisade and Jeannot left seven furlongs behind in Imin. 31 2-ssec. Ruapane covered the mile in Imin. 40Asec. Glenmore outjumped Captain Mackay once round the fences. Fagot anil Rustic took a round of the stelepl'echase fences jumping satisfactorily. Bandalero, and Golden Glow’, were schooled over the fences. Golden Glow made a fine exhibition of jumping. Encore easily’ beat Moonglow over seven furlongs in Imin. 31sec. Mandoline ran five furlongs in Imin. ssec. Admiral Soult jumped two hurdles moderately. Diavolo did six furlongs in Imin. 22see. Cast Iron and Dan Cameron did a round of schooling hurdles. Sandy’ Paul was schooled over the fences, and made an indifferent display, baulking at the second of double. Centre ran si?; furlongs in Imin. 17 3-ssec. Agatha Green was better than Naupata in a round of big country. Glenroy on the tan did the last five of six furlongs in Imin. 6 2-ssec. Kirn Cardiff and The Brewer were schooled over the hurdles.
