AND THEN SUICIDES. RESULT OF NEROL’S BREAKDOWN. [FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION COPYRIGHT.] Sydney, Jan. 11. A tragedy took place at Double Bay. Mrs. Hardy, wife of Walter Hady, the head of a large city jewellery firm, hearing shouts, proceeded to the bedroom of her son, Alan, aged 21, and found the latter in bed. and her husband dead on the floor with a revolver alongside. Both were shot in the head. The son died en route for the hospital. It is surmised that 'the father shot the son and then himself.
