After weeks of continual pumping it is understood that the flooding of the Central Hotel cellars, in Emerson street. Napier, has besn overcome. On? of the two engines at work has ceased pumping and the other is running at low pressue. There is every reason to expect that the water will he blocked effectively in a few hours.
