ORIENTALS IN CAN ADA. (Received 4, 8.0 a.m.) Ottawa. June 3. The Senate debated the admission of Sikhs into the country. Mr. Power expressed a hope that the Sikhs would not be roused to (he boiling point against Canada. Because of the expulsion of their women and children, more than half the Sikhs had already returned t<> their homes. ,\lr. Lougheed. on behalf of the Geverpinent. said Cabinet was considering the matter and while the question w is a difficult one the Government felt that the feeling of I; itish Columbia was against the Orientals. He hoped a solution could be found.
